Ein Bokek campsite lies on the north edge of the Dead Sea hotels strip.
A large parking lot with places for RV’s and tents. Right above the shores of the amazing blue Dead Sea. There are toilets on site and some shade. The site was renewed last year and is kept well and clean.
Great info thanks!!
Thank you for this comment (:
I am planning to camp after.Shabuot, can you inform me if it is possible?
Notice the weather might get too hot during the day, but any way the campground is open and welcoming you (:

Hi, I am planning to come on Sunday morning to camp until Monday morning , is it safe for the two of us, we are already senior citizen.
Hi Gila,
We’ve been there two nights and it was safe for us. it is near the main road and on the tayelet there but we can’t say for sure …
Maybe go there for the day and see the vibes for you two 🙂
Can we grill a barbeque while camping ?
we are planning to camp on friday evening around 23:00
We are not responsible for the Camping sites. If a sign says ‘no fire’, then no fire is allowed. If there’s a sign prohibiting grilling, then grilling is prohibited.
Thanks for sharing the information! Do we have to worry about sinkholes as in the Ein Gedi Beach Campground?
Staying at all Camping sites is at Your responsibility! It’s a good idea to check online before getting there. In general, yes, it’s better not to arrive at the Ein Gedi Camping site and the area until further notice.
