On the northern edge of the state of Israel, Mount Hermon is the highest mountain in the country. During winter, hundreds of cars pack the roads in order to get some ski experience.
Camping on the mountain is allowed only between April and October.
Remember that nights can get cold even at the summer so make sure to check the weather and bring enough fire wood, clothing and hiking equipment.
